During the festival, there are a variety of customs around the country, including but not limited to:

2. : On New Year's Eve, every family cleans the house and removes the old things, symbolizing the old and welcoming the New Year, hoping that the family will be clean and safe in the New Year.

On New Year's Eve, the whole family gets together to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, symbolizing reunion and harmony.

6. : During the New Year, people pay New Year greetings to each other and give gifts to each other, especially the younger generation pay New Year greetings to their elders and receive red envelopes (lucky money).

Dragon and Lion Dance 7. There are dragon and lion dance performances in many places, which means driving away evil spirits and avoiding disasters, bringing good luck and prosperity.

In addition, the Chinese New Year has a variety of forms of celebration, such as the wake, Lantern Festival, guessing lantern riddles. With the development of The Times, although some traditional celebration methods have changed, the Spring Festival is still the most important time for family gatherings and cultural inheritance in the hearts of the Chinese people.
